FAQ’s
Wise Credit Consultants work to find legitimate violations that creditors and the credit bureaus have made with the data they have reporting on your credit report. We then leverage those violations as a way to negotiate with the creditor or credit bureau to have those outdated, inaccurate and unverifiable items removed from your credit report.
Our service works by working with the creditors and credit bureaus to find legitimate reasons to have incorrect, unfair, or questionable items removed from our clients’ credit reports. Often, we can find violations of certain requirements of those creditors. If we do, we leverage those violations as a way to get the creditor or credit bureau to remove the item in question.
Wise Credit Consultants, just as any other legally compliant credit repair agency, can only remove items that are reporting to be inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable. 80% of all credit reports have multiple errors which has allowed us to be successful removing collections, late payments, repossessions, students loans, and even public records from many credit reports. We cannot promise that any item can or will be removed.
This is a tricky question. For one, we can’t tell you upfront that ANY item can or will be removed from our clients’ credit reports. Again, like all legally compliant credit repair agencies, we can only remove items that show to be inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable. However, MANY items on most people’s reports could fall into one of those categories. We have helped clients in the past remove collections, late payments, repos, student loans, and even public records. Again, we just can’t make you any promises about specific items.
While each person, each credit report, and each situation is unique to itself, it is very nearly impossible to pinpoint exactly how long our service will take. As a rule, our clients remain with our service for 5-6 months. This does not mean all items, if any, will be removed within this timeframe. Keep in mind, Wise Credit Consultants does not get paid until we achieve results for you, it is in our best interest to get them as quickly as possible. The sooner we help you get repaired, the sooner we are able to help you reach your goal to make your purchase.
We provide all our clients with an estimated time frame for service. In general, clients are usually with us from 4 to 6 months. However, this is not saying all items will be removed in that time frame or that all items will be removed at all. This is just the usual time frame people choose to stay in our program. Since we do not charge fees for our services, we work to achieve those results as fast as possible. The sooner we help you get repaired, the sooner we are able to help you reach other goals such as funding your business or getting that new home.
The simple answer is because the credit bureaus say so. Unfortunately, there is wording in the law to require you to give them information. If you don’t supply the proof of your identity and address, the bureaus will simply ignore your dispute and you will get nowhere. Below is a list of what can be used as proofs.
YOU MUST SEND AT LEAST THREE OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO SEND AS MANY AS YOU CAN PROVIDE:
Driver’s License
Utility Bill
Pay Stub with Social Security number
W2 Form
Lease Agreement
Bank Statement
Cancelled Check
Absolutely! The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) allows credit improvement companies to assist clients in removing inaccurate, outdated and unverifiable items on their credit reports. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives you the right to challenge those derogatory items that lower your credit scores. This is where we come in. The experts at Wise Credit Consultants know all about the credit system and will ensure everything is being reported correctly and removed timely.
The honest answer is that we don’t know. Credit scores are based on 5 factors which include payment history, amounts owed, length of credit, new credit and types of credit. Most importantly, YOU play a huge role in your success during our credit improvement program.
For example, if a new late payment is reported on your credit report, if you max out one of your credit cards, get a new collection, and/or do not obtain a credit card per our recommendations, your scores can drop. Keep in mind, you are hiring Wise Credit Consultants to remove inaccurate, outdated and unverifiable items on your credit reports…the credit score change is the byproduct.
